Reza Kavosh is an accomplished professional with a career spanning international trade, humanitarian work, and intercultural dialogue. Originally from Esfahan, Iran, his academic foundation in Law provided an early understanding of legal frameworks and global affairs. He later advanced his education in International Peace, Conflict and Development at the UNESCO Chair of Philosophy for Peace program in Spain, where he gained in-depth knowledge of international cooperation and conflict resolution. In 2010, he joined the WYSE International Leadership Programme in Italy, a selective platform that shaped his leadership approach and strengthened his commitment to youth engagement. Following this, he worked with the UNHCR in Iran, focusing on livelihood programs for Afghan and Iraqi refugees. This role involved hands-on coordination in multiple provinces, enhancing his practical experience in humanitarian development.
Reza also plays a significant role in religious and cultural diplomacy. He serves as Special Assistant and Advisor to Dr. Bawa Jain, Secretary General of the World Council of Religious Leaders. In this capacity, he contributes to interfaith dialogue, strategic planning, and peace initiatives. Based in Dubai, he has held senior positions in trade strategy, including as Head of Trade at SMVS Trading.
